Haute Couture Neckpiece

Through the symbolism of a slow burning candle, I aim to convey the interconnectedness and emotional duality of hope and despair. The candle embodies various sentiments such as romance, passion, warmth, hope, and mystery. By emphasizing the delicate balance between hope and despair, represented by the feminine and romantic qualities accentuated through the color red, I provoke contemplation and reflection on their interplay. My intention is to  embrace both hope and despair as integral aspects of the human experience, highlighting that accepting despair as part of hope is essential. Ultimately, I aim to convey that hope and despair are inseparable and necessary elements within our emotional landscape.
